Chelsea: what's is all the hype about?

As London's heat wave has continued, on Tuesday I went back to South West London to enjoy the sun. I spent my time exploring Chelsea and discovering what all the hype is about.

If I am completely honest I don't especially like the idea of Chelsea, what appears to be obscene wealth and paying astronomical property prices primarily for a post code. Nevertheless, I cannot deny it, Chelsea certainly has charm.

Yes the property prices are extraordinarily high, but the town houses are extraordinarily beautiful.

Chelsea also has loads of really lovely parks, all of which have a pristine upkeep and have beautiful sculptures and delicate, pretty flowers.

It's true, almost everything you look at in Chelsea is captivating and somewhat attractive

It is, however, important to take Chelsea's reputation and image of 'glamour' and 'luxury' with a pinch of salt!

I spent some time in Brussels this week so you can expect an extra post some time over the weekend or early next week. When the post is live I will let you know on Twitter and Facebook.

I'd love to know what you think of Chelsea and whether you rate it or not, so please let me know in the comments. Have a great week!
