It might be almost Christmas, but the weather in London has been a true delight this year. Yesterday the sun was out and as i'm on leave for the Christmas season I put on my Nikes and took a stroll around the city with my camera.
One thing I love about London is how small zone one is, once in central London there is actually little need to use the tube if you're just spending a day seeing the 'sights'. So that is just what I did.
Normally I, like most Londoners, am in a constant hurry to get around the city as quickly as possible and am extremely impatient with tourists bumbling around the city not really knowing where they are going and slowing me down. But yesterday, I swapped teams and was a tourist for the day. I wandered around the city at a much slower pace than normal, taking in it's beauty.
I even went to Buckingham Palace for the first time since I have lived in London (Yes the first time - try not to judge me).
Happy Christmas and New Year from The Big L, you'll hear from me in 2016!
